Creek Track & Field

2025 Recap

Beavercreek Track & Field made a strong statement this season, beginning with both teams finishing as overall runners-up at the GWOC Championships. Senior Kaden Ellerbe, a University of Miami signee, stole the spotlight by breaking the 400m GWOC record held by NFL star Brandon Saine. Faith Brown swept the 100mH and 300mH, and Abigail Johnson won the shot put. The boys’ 4x800m relay also secured a conference title.

Momentum continued at Districts with another second-place team finish. Ellerbe claimed the 200m and 400m titles and anchored the winning 4x400m before an injury ended his season. Preston Robinette won the discus, while Brown and Johnson defended their titles.

At Regionals, Brown dominated again, and at the State Championships, she won the 300mH, breaking school and stadium records, and took second in the 100mH. Other state highlights included Jackson Davis (4th in 1600m) and the boys’ 4x400m (8th). The girls’ team placed 9th overall. Additional state qualifiers included:

  • Boys’ 4x800m – 17th

  • Girls’ 4x400m – 15th

  • Isaiah Williams – 13th in high jump

  • Mackenzie McClurkin – 18th in shot put

In the seated division, freshman Enora McEllroy earned top-six finishes in all events, and Zoe Roll added two fourth-place finishes, showcasing the team’s strength across all divisions.
